#WEBUILTTHIS
7M REACH. 24K FOLLOWERS. MAD MENTIONS. MERE WEEKS.
#WeBuiltThis was a deeply data-driven, highly artistic, visually dynamic multi-channel engagement platform that became the aggregator of record ahead of the 2016 presidential election, focused on elevating the impact of Black youth building local community power.
Leveraging social media, text, email, blogs and press to reach more than 7 million people online in a matter of weeks, we broke down silos across the movement for Black lives to reveal a robust picture of the work activists, organizers and artists are engaged in to combat state violence in their communities across the United States.
